Monel 400 Forgings are nickel-copper alloys that typically consist of about 63% nickel, 28–34% copper, along with trace amounts of iron and manganese. In terms of mechanical properties, these forgings boast a tensile strength ranging from 550 to 700 MPa, a yield strength of 240 to 400 MPa, and an elongation of 30 to 50%. This combination provides excellent toughness, ductility, and wear resistance. Their unique composition ensures remarkable resistance to corrosion, oxidation, and stress cracking in both acidic and alkaline environments, making them perfect for critical components that face harsh industrial and marine conditions.
