Monel K500 Forgings are nickel-copper alloys that typically consist of about 63% nickel, 28–34% copper, along with small amounts of aluminum and titanium for added strength through precipitation hardening. These forgings boast impressive mechanical properties, including a tensile strength ranging from 830 to 1,000 MPa, yield strength between 550 and 700 MPa, and an elongation of 20 to 35%. This combination results in exceptional hardness, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The alloy’s composition provides excellent protection against stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and wear, especially in marine and chemical settings, while ensuring high strength and durability for critical engineering components.
