The chemical composition of Stainless Steel 316L Square Bars and Rods consists of about 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, and 2-3% molybdenum with low carbon content. It offers a great improvement in the corrosion resistance in chlorides. Mechanical properties comprise a tensile strength of up to 580 MPa, a yield strength of up to 240 MPa, and good weldability.
