Aung Metals is the leading supplier and manufacturer of Stainless Steel 316 Bars and Rods, providing top-quality products designed for superior corrosion resistance and durability. Our Stainless Steel 316 Bars and Rods are ideal for a wide range of industrial applications, including marine, chemical processing, and food industries, where resistance to rust and corrosion is essential. We offer these bars and rods in various sizes and grades to meet your specific requirements. At Aung Metals, we are committed to delivering reliable, high-performance stainless steel products that meet the highest standards of quality and precision for your projects.
Stainless Steel 316 Bars and Rods have a chemical composition of 16-18%, 10-14% nickel, and 2-3% molybdenum, enabling them to resist corrosion even in environments rich with chloride. The alloy contains small amounts of manganese, silicon, and the maximum percentage of carbon-0.08%-help improve strength and workability. Therefore, Stainless Steel 316 shows good mechanical properties with a tensile strength of 520 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. This makes it an ideal alloy in environments such as marine and chemical applications where exposure to high temperature occurs because Stainless Steel 316 has superior corrosion resistance.

Stainless Steel 316 contains molybdenum, which enhances its resistance to pitting and corrosion, especially in chloride-rich environments, making it perfect for marine, chemical processing, and food industry applications.
Yes, Stainless Steel 316 is highly weldable and is commonly used in welding-intensive applications. Its low carbon content minimizes carbide precipitation, ensuring strong, durable welds.
Stainless Steel 316 offers superior corrosion resistance compared to other alloys like 304, especially in aggressive environments like seawater and harsh chemicals, thanks to its molybdenum content.
The stainless steel bars and rods are meant for highly corrosive and durable environments. The said bars and rods are made available to marine, chemical processing, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. In addition, Stainless Steel 316 has excellent resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking because of Chloride, and crevice corrosion making applications such as heat exchangers, valves, tanks, and pumps the best. In addition, when considering high temperatures and strength resistance, Stainless Steel 316 becomes a favourite choice for usage in marine environments and industrial equipment combined with aggressive chemicals or harsh conditions. We care about what you want and you can count on us to deliver solid solutions.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
