Stainless Steel 317L is a low carbon, molybdenum alloy austenitic steel, which increases corrosion resistance, especially in acidic environments its interior usually contains 18-20% chromium, 3-5% molybdenum and carbon 0.03% for pitting, cracking and corrosion with effective resistance “L”. Grade: Lower Indicates carbon content, reducing the risk of carbide precipitation during welding. Mechanical properties include high tensile strength, typically around 485 MPa, good ductility and formability.
